Fire is a sacred element — a living force that demands presence, respect, and intention. When we dance with fire, we’re not just holding a flame; we’re entering into a partnership with something ancient. Each movement becomes a conversation of trust, breath, and control. Through dance, we don’t tame the fire — we meet it, honour it, and let its energy move through us.

Fire Academy | Term 4 starts 22nd of July - 20th of Sept.
Dance Academy | Thursdays

Heels
This weekly Commercial Heels class is a welcoming introduction to heels dance, blending confidence, musicality, and performance-style movement in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Over the 10-week term, you’ll learn foundational heels technique, walks, lines, transitions, and short commercial-style combinations inspired by music videos and stage performance.
Classes are taught at an accessible pace with clear breakdowns and plenty of encouragement. No previous heels or dance experience is required — this class is about building confidence from the ground up.

Latin Fever
This weekly Reggaeton class is a high-energy, confidence-building introduction to Reggaeton dance, designed for absolute beginners. You will learn foundational grooves, isolations, footwork, and short combinations inspired by classic and contemporary Reggaeton styles.
Classes focus on rhythm, power, and body confidence while remaining accessible and supportive. Everything is broken down step-by-step, with space to learn at your own pace — no previous dance experience required.

Reggaeton
This weekly Latin dance class is a fun, welcoming introduction to Latin movement and rhythm, designed especially for beginners. You will learn foundational steps, hip movement, musicality, and short combinations inspired by styles such as salsa, bachata, and Latin fusion.
Classes are taught at an accessible pace with plenty of guidance, repetition, and encouragement — no prior dance experience needed. The focus is on confidence, coordination, and enjoying your body in motion.

HAUS OF FURY | FIRE ACADEMY
SPARKS - Entry Level
Sparks is our introduction course. No experience is needed to sign up for this programme.
On this 8 week journey we will learn to connect with the element of fire and ignite our inner passion and sensuality.
Coarse includes in depth safety training, body contact fire, bubbles and fire dance combos.

EMBERS - Beginner 1
Embers is our beginners course. You must have completed Sparks to enrol in the course.
On this 8 week journey we will continue to connect with the element of fire and ignite our inner passion and sensuality. We broaden our technical wand work and continue our conditioning.
Course includes in depth safety training, body contact fire, tongue touch and fire dance combos (Wands and Palms).
FLAMES - BEGINNER 2
Flames is our beginner 2 course. You must have completed and passed Embers to enrol in the course.
On this 8 week journey we will continue to connect with the element of fire and ignite our inner passion and sensuality. We broaden our technical wand work and continue our conditioning.
Course includes in depth safety training, body contact fire, mouth extinguish, intermediate wand work combos and fire dance combos (Wands and Palms).
Starts 2nd of August - 20th of Sept

BONFIRE - INT 1
Bonfire is our Int 1 coarse. You MUST have completed and passed Flames to enrol in the course.
On this 8 week journey we will continue to connect with the element of fire and ignite our inner passion and sensuality. We broaden our technical wand work and continue our conditioning.
Course includes in depth safety training, body contact fire, Shoot the Moon & Drum beats, intermediate wand work combos and fire dance combos (Wands and Palms).

The Serpentine - SYD FRINGE PERFORMANCE TROUPE
Seductive, mysterious, and a little bit dangerous—the SERPENTINE are slithering into Sydney Fringe this September.
Over 7 weeks, students will create a mesmerising troupe piece full of movement, magic, and circus spectacle as one body. Creating the illusion of a flaming snake coming to life on the stage.
Open to all current prop students, with performances on 18, 19, 26 & 27 September at 4:30pm.
This is a fire fans routine. All props provided.

Hall of Mirrors - SYD FRINGE PERFORMANCE TROUPE
Hall of Mirrors
Step through the looking glass and lose yourself in a world of illusion. Inspired by the strange magic of carnival mirror mazes, this troupe piece explores reflection, distortion, and the many faces we wear.
Blending prop manipulation with theatrical movement, students will create a mesmerising performance where nothing is quite as it seems.
Suitable for Props 2 and above, this 8-week course will culminate in performances at Sydney Fringe Festival on 18, 19, 26 & 27 September at 4:30pm.
This is a mixed Props performance.

Sweet Heat - SYD FRINGE PERFORMANCE TROUPE
Sweet Heat
Step right up to the sweetest show in the Fun Haus! Inspired by candy floss, popcorn, slushies and the glamour of vintage concession stand girls, this troupe blends playful burlesque with the thrilling art of fire eating.
Expect sugar, spice, and a little bit of danger as we serve up a deliciously cheeky performance full of sparkle, sass, and flames.
This beginner-friendly, 8-week course is open to all students and culminates in performances at Sydney Fringe Festival on 18, 19, 26 & 27 September at 4:30pm.

The Final Act
Step right up and enter a world where the extraordinary comes alive. Combining mixed fire props with fire eating, this spectacular ensemble piece celebrates wonder, courage, and the magic of the circus.
With soaring moments, breathtaking flames, and larger-than-life energy, this troupe invites performers to take centre stage and embrace the thrill of the spotlight.
This is open to all current students. All props and styles of fire performed.
This 7-week course culminates in performances at Sydney Fringe Festival on 18, 19, 26 & 27 September at 4:30pm.

Fire Fans
Fire Fans – Beginner Friendly
This class is a gentle but empowering introduction to fire fans, designed for those who are new to the prop or new to fire altogether. We focus on solid foundations, safe handling, and building confidence with flame at a pace that supports your body and your nervous system.
You’ll learn basic fan grips, pathways, turns, and transitions, with plenty of repetition and guidance. We’ll explore how to move with intention, find your flow, and start developing your own style — no pressure to perform, just permission to learn.

Our End of Term Showcase is a celebration of dedication, transformation, and self-made magic. Featuring powerful soloists debuting acts they’ve built from the ground up, a fierce fire fan troupe, and a fusion troupe brought to you by Mama Medusa and Miss Eli Fury.
This showcase is about growth, embodiment, and claiming space — every performer exactly where they’re meant to be in their journey.
